The Monclova Historical Foundation invites you to join us on Wednesday, April 5th at 7:00pm for our next History Lecture – The Battle of Fallen Timbers & the New Visitors Center featuring Dave Westrick.
Join us to hear Dave talk about the Battle of Fallen Timbers and the new visitor center that opened there last year. Historians rank the Battle of Fallen Timbers as one of the most important battles in U.S. history.
Dave is a retired Communications Consultant and Historical Researcher and was raised on a farm outside of Ottawa, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Ohio University. He worked as a reporter, media spokesman, ad agency copy writer and a communications director before starting his own media consulting business. Dave currently serves on the board of the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Preservation Commission and the Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor. He resides in Maumee with his wife Nanci. He has two children and four grandchildren.
The lecture will take place at the Monclova Community Center (Ottawa Room) located at 8115 Monclova Road – just 3 miles West of St. Luke’s Hospital. Admission and parking are FREE. An elevator is located at the west entrance to the building. Hope to see you there!
