The Historic Monclova Community Center has elegantly renovated banquet and meeting facilities which are available for rent to the general public for wedding receptions, anniversary and graduation parties, baby and bridal showers, business meetings, HOA meetings, and more! Our guests enjoy the historic atmosphere found in the high ceilings, original woodwork and hardwood floors in addition to the modern amenities of air-conditioning, handicap accessibility, and elevator.
All rooms are set up with WIFI access, however we recommend bringing a hotspot as a back-up in case the internet goes down or is not connecting properly (we do not have access to reset the WIFI on the weekends or outside of business hours).
In warmer weather our guests can relax outside in our Patio Dining Deck, or have their special ceremony in our beautifully landscaped Courtyard or Grassy Barn Space. There is plenty of free parking in front, on the side, and in the back lot of our beautifully restored 100+ year old school building. Reasonable rates and close proximity to Toledo and the surrounding area add to the value of these facilities!
Schaller Banquet Hall will accommodate up to 162 people, and is perfect for your special day. The Hall features round tables, which comfortably seat eight, and upholstered chairs. All 20 tables and 162 chairs are set up on each side of a generous dance floor area with enough room for additional tables for the head table or cake/gift/dessert tables. Feel free to use the caterer of your choice! A large kitchen is included with the Banquet Hall which has a double door cooler/refrigerator, an ice machine, a warming cabinet, a microwave, plenty of counter space and sinks. The Banquet Hall rental also comes with extra 8′ tables to be used for food serving buffet tables, that can be set-up in the hallway next to our convenient bar area. Reasonable rates and close proximity to Toledo and the surrounding area add to the value of these facilities!
PATIO – The patio will be set up from Memorial Day to Labor Day
The Metzger Room and the Ottawa Room which are located in the front part of the Monclova Community Center are perfect rooms for bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, educational classes, seminars, or other events for up to 44 to 48 people, respectively. You are welcome to bring food and beverages into either of these locations. The Metzger Room has a refrigerator and sink, and additional space with access to the patio in good weather. We would love to host your event at the Monclova Community Center.
The Board Room Accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably. This room is perfect for the conference meeting or small classroom. There is a sink along with a long counter top that can be used for a luncheon buffet. There is also a screen mounted on the wall for presentations. We would love to host your event at the Monclova Community Center.
